| Moira did it and the festive Ira Snell made her pay!! |
You read it correctly. The "brave and daring" Ira Snell saved the evening by putting the evil and mean (especially to Ira) Moria Blackwell out of commission.
Ira told me that he had known "Moira was up to something no good." He kept an eye on her and intentionally let himself be taken hostage by her at the end. "I just did what came naturally to me (scream like a little girl). I am a trained cage fighter and when my chance came I wrestled the gun, stolen from Wal-mart Security Chief Johnny, from her hand and used it on her. She died pleading for her life, but I did not stop my relentless attack," said Ira. "I have skills, mad skills," he stated moving into a fighting stance for effect. "Besides, I thought Seamus was a real great guy, even if he didn't want to do business with my Set the Hook PR firm," he said. The stunt with the knife was just a joke I guess, huh Ira? It is worth noting that other guests did not see events quite like Mr. Snell did. Also of interest were deep bite marks on Moria Blackwell's hand, apparently from where Ira used his "mad skills" to wrestle the gun from her.
Officer Mallone is certian that he has never worked at Wal-Mart. While he is distressed at his cousins demise, he is happy to "see the doubloons returned to their rightful place with the family." He is disappointed that "the wimp", Ira Snell, bagged the perp instead of him. Officer Malone was also quick to praise his Deputy for diligent police work.
Peter Blackwell quickly distanced himself from Lurleen Johnson with the help of local police lead by Officer Johnny. "Peter will be visiting an extended stay hotel run by federal authorities", said Officer Malone, "and Lurleen Johnson will be staying in a budget resort run by the State of Texas." Officer Malone was referring to Peter Blackwell's woe's with the IRS and the fact that Miss Johnson is being extradited to Texas to face trial for the various cons she has been involved with.
