| Planes
We are proud to welcome the Georgia Aircraft Modelers Association to The Battle of Byron. GAMA will be displaying some of its members beautiful R/C model aircraft in downtown Byron on Saturday. But that isn't all... get some stick time with official GAMA flight training instructors out on their airfield. That's right, you will be able to fly the same types of aircraft you will see on display! So don't forget your aviator shades!

Trains
Middle Georgia Model Railroad Club will be back for The Battle with their exciting model train layout. Grab your Conductor's hat and visit them in the Byron Train Station for some prototypical model railway action.

| Automobiles
Last, but certainly not least, are the automobiles. This includes the return of the Southern Classic Cruisers that will be hosting the custom car show in the Byron Methodist Church parking lot. Trophies will be awarded to the top 25 cars with Best of Show and Ladies Choice awards. Want to show off your ride? The entrance fee is only $20.00. The cars will be there from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and judging will be at 11 a.m. Come on out to The Battle for some cruisin' with the top down!
Radio controlled cars and trucks will be a new addition to The Battle of Byron. Local R/C car enthusiasts will be on hand with their vehicles and giving demonstrations as well. Get bitten by the R/C bug and have some great family fun!

Christopher Pickens
One of R/C Racing's youngest Factory Team Pro Drivers in the world is right here at The Battle of Byron! At 12 years old, Christopher Pickens is racing his way to the top.
Christopher has consistently raced 1/8 scale buggy for the last three years and in 2009, started racing truggy class as well as the buggy class. In 2008, Christopher won the Georgia State R/C Pro Series in 1/8 Buggy along with other events like the Dash For Cash, Buggy Jamboree, East Coast Nitro Challenge and other various trophy events. Christopher has a busy schedule of events for 2009 in which will include: Psycho Nitro Blast, Colonels Winter Classic 3, Georgia Championship Series, R/C Pro Series, East Coast Nitro Series, 1/8 Buggy Nationals, 1/8 Truggy Nationals and numerous other events in the southeast.
Christopher is a very social person at the track as well as away from the track. He is always willing to help someone and has a lot of knowledge when it comes to R/C, whether it's racing or fun, he can help.
The Battle of Byron is excited to have Christopher on hand for our event! Set some time aside during your day to see him.
